In summer 2020, a friend of mine who lives in Buffalo, New York had a beloved dog (a pug) experience breathing distress on a very hot day. She was concerned the dog has a collapsed trachea so took her to the emergency vet.

The vet would not allow anyone inside (including the dog) so my friend had to sit in the parking lot w/ the car A/C running. HOURS went by and my friend gave up and took the dog home where she could be comfortable. The dog died that day.

My friend is a forgiving person and has let it go. I continue to be angry that this poor dog died FOR NO REASON.
