About Us

Covid Stories Archive is a nonprofit, non-partisan and non-ideological endeavor to collect and preserve experiences from the Covid era. Our mission to is to archive these stories for posterity and make them available to scholars, journalists, writers and the general public.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization incorporated in Florida, so your donations are tax deductible. We are an all-volunteer organization. We focus on stories and experiences of people within the United States, but we welcome similar projects in other countries and look forward to working with them.

Our founding board is a mix of people across the ideological spectrum with a variety of experiences. Their common interest is preserving our communal stories.

Board Members

Ann Bauer – Ann is a novelist, essayist, university writing instructor and health care communications consultant.

Jennifer Haskins Cabrera – Jennifer, the editor of Alachua Chronicle, is trained as an engineer. She is a co-founder of Covid Stories Archive.

Mary Hall, M.D. – Mary is a pediatrician in private practice.

Justin Hart – Justin is a data expert and political consultant. He is a co-founder of Covid Stories Archive.

Ellen Wald, Ph.D. – Ellen is an historian and runs an energy consulting firm with her husband. Ellen is a co-founder of Covid Stories Archive.

Sam Wald – Sam is an attorney and co-owner of an energy consulting firm with his wife. Sam is a co-founder of Covid Stories Archive.

Jenin Younes – Jenin is an attorney at a civil liberties nonprofit law firm after having worked for many years as a public defender.
