We are incorporated in Florida as a nonprofit, and we have applied for 501(c)(3) nonprofit status from the IRS so we can make donations tax deductible. We are an all-volunteer organization. We focus on stories and experiences of people within the United States, but we welcome similar projects in other countries and look forward to working with them.
Our founding board is a mix of people across the ideological spectrum with a variety of experiences. Their common interest is preserving our communal stories.
